Had my only Mazda ( a Mazda 6) for almost 70k (bought second hand) and the only things it's had done to it are stuff that you expect to wear out like tyres, brakes, battery, filters, etc. Unbelievable machine.
Mazda have a very good build quality compared to other cars in the price bracket, always have. Their interior doesn't feel as cheap as some of their competitors products and they're excellent for road noise.
It is funny that people in our age bracket will remember the "jap crap" mentality of years ago when Australian cars were highly rated as opposed to plastic rubbish from Japan. How things have changed.
I’ve had Fords and Holden’s over the years, but my current vehicle a Honda seriously shits all over them.
