Seriously though, my B grade could be in for a long day.. just had a quick look over the corresponding fixture last year when we got pumped - of the side I fielded that was almost full strength, I have 7 playing tomorrow, and 5 are up in the A grade.

Only 7 of my Prelim Final side remain also

Hope Pulteney don't put balls behind the goals, otherwise i'll carry a shank in my sock and pop the mutha truckers! (pop the balls, not the players)

Good news travels fast. I expect I'll probably have 27 and kick 4.2.

After the game I can be joined at the bar, buy me a drink and i'll tell you all how good I am - and how shit the rest of you are.

What will you do after quarter time though?

My tactic tomorrow will be to boot the ball over the hill at Ingle Farm and let it roll down to Bridge Rd - should chew around 5-10min off the clock each time. 8)

Quite a different looking Blues lineup in the magoos though, expect Lawrie, Dunn and Preston to cause plenty of headaches still, and Van Den Munckhof knows how to find the goals.

Reckon from memory Zenon Trigg played in the A grade GF last year too, and was more than a handful :-k

CBC by 7 goals.
Hectorville vs Smithfield (40+): Not hearing much good news out of the kennel, the Panthers seem to be up and running alright early on.
Smithfield by 10 goals
Woodville South vs Hope Valley (1-39): Home ground advantage here, Woody South appear to have had a good off season and the Valleys will be on the improve too.
Woody South by 7 goals
Ingle Farm vs Pulteney (40+): Well, not much to say here, hoping that the Farmers can find something and cover some lost personel.
Pulteney by 10 goals
Blackfriars vs Lockleys (1-39): zedman returns to his favourite ground amongst the beehives, the looms to be match of the round and will give us a good gauge as to where these two powerhouse are at. Lockleys in a thriller for me, maybe a couple of late goals to blow the margin a little.
Lockleys by 13 points
This season is going to be bloody hard for any sort of prediction, at this stage there appears to be 8 genuine contenders for a finals berth along with 5 for a spot in the GF, I guess we'll know a tad more come Saturday evening.

Piss weak Bedge, piss weak!

I thought I may have inspired you to do a full Andrew Capel like round 1 and possible season preview, I've been waiting all morning to print it off and take it to the dunny.

I find that very hurtful, I'm quite sensitive about my weight and have been trying to make lifestyle changes to address the issue. :'(

Am interested to see how he goes in a match, looks a likely type - not sure he’ll set the world alight, but I think he’ll provide some variation and a bit of outside run.

He’s just a kid still though, and appears he’s got a bit of development in his game still to go... but we are very happy to have him onboard!

*edit* - he’s actually older than I thought! Haha!

Interesting. Good depth at BOS. A new era dawns at the start of our 13th year in the comp.
