Based on your review mate I will go and see this.HH3 wrote:A Quiet Place
Probably the best movie I've seen in at least two years.
It's not the typical scary movie. The tension has your heart going from start to finish.
The story is good, and the characters are well played.
Its also a bit different being in a cinema where there is no sound for a long period. I felt self conscious crunching on popcorn, so had to time it to the rare loud moments in the movie.
I'd say 9.5/10 (and it takes a lot for me to like a movie)

I, Tonya. Nothing short of excellent; puts a real human face on the protagonists. Alison Janney perfect as Tonya's mother.
Grace Jones: Bloodlight and Bami (documentary) No narration, just a camera crew following Grace Jones around in USA, Jamaica and Europe at various times over the last decade or so. Interesting glimpse into her world; good for fans.
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. Very well done. Essentially an entry in the "body swap" genre of movies (think Freaky Friday, Big, and so forth). Jack Black is hilarious as the woman trapped in a man's body.
The Shape Of Water. Atmospheric and engrossing, really draws you in - but it got a bit silly in the final act.

I Tonya is a top watch, Alison Janney is brilliant.
