Like the Ryder incident, they're guilty until the internet decides if the police and club got it wrong or not.

Does it concern you that your players are out after 2am?

While players being out after 2am shouldn't be a big issue the fact that the smoke continues to hover around the Port players rather than the Crows players suggests something in the water around Ports culture or their extremely unlucky.

In the last few years what issues have we seen:
Patrick Ryder
Jarman Impey
Sam P-P
Nathan Krakouer

I don’t think anyone has said SPP is guilty on here.

Talking to a recently retired Crow they generally will go post game to one of the players houses to blow off a bit of steam, as they have an even higher profile I guess its at a stage its not even worth them going out during the season.

I think so, professional athletes putting themselves in situations not needed. I would say the same for any AFL player.

Incredibly difficult balance being a young lad and a professional footballer and he's not the first and won't the last to get that balance wrong. Not in the alleged sexual assault sense, but just being out with mates and having a drink.

I believe the club/playing group allows drinking if we've got a 7 day break, which we do as we played Saturday and don't play until Sunday.

Having said that, nothing much good happens after midnight so you put yourself in that situation and you'll suffer the consequences.

You're insinuating SAPOL sweep misdemeanors or worse, crimes, by Port Adelaide players under the carpet. Wonder what SAPOL would think of such an allegation.

There is a perception that footballers from any club get treated differently to the average Joe’s on the street

Classic line from "How I met your mother" "Nothing good happens after 2am".

I think it's a pretty good rule to follow.

Look beyond that and you'll soon find the penalties applied to serious criminal matters are often perceived as far too lenient, far too often. It's not just footballers who get off light mate.

Perception and reality aren't the same thing.

Judged her actions regarding going to C7 before the police, that's not unfair.

As of 15 minutes ago SAPOL spokeswoman said no matter had been reported to police.

People have judged her actions and then labelled her in the process - that like SPP being labelled without the facts is unfair.

Reading the articles on this, it seems as though she went to the club and Port has offered to handle this internally and it satisfied her, but for some reason between Sunday and Monday, she decided to go to the press.
What happened to change her mind?....
