You'd think we'd learn. I traded him out early last year too, will probably do the same today!

Four ******* points. Marchbank goes down after ten minutes and that's pretty much game over right there. Bloody Greene doesn't help either. Now I've got Ryan and Marchbank out hurt as well ACK. I was a bit fortunate to beat Buddy last year but that has evened up this time around.

Moved up to 63 overall. Could be even higher, but I traded out Greene for Tom Lynch, when I initially was thinking Walters. Wanted a POD but that didn't pay off.

The Q Man has come out and handed out a nice beating to FISH on his Hogg Premier League debut in the match of the day. A bit unlucky for FISH who scored well but didn't get the W. Welcome to the NFL rookie! Meanwhile, Hips Don't Lie also started well as he pounded a suspect Has Been to be sitting pretty in the top four after the first round. Honey Badgers leads all comers though after the Fevolas took the day off, perhaps they were recovering from an unscheduled Brownlow bash....in April boys?

Meanwhile that dud Poon Army jagged a totally undeserved win after Richo fielded the one West Coast player who didn't tear Geelong a new arsehole on the Sunday. While the Yo Yo had a down week the Army marched home with a score that would be lucky to get him a win in the Piglet. Meanwhile my brave warriors..or is that worriers fell an agonising four points short after my POD Marchbank went down after racking up 25 points in ten minutes ACK. FMSC.

Other winners included Longwood Lions who had spudded up all pre-season, the defending premiers Delicous, Benny Rolfs and congratulations to Inner Sanctum after they opened their Hogg Premier account. We are on our way lads with the league rank looking good...despite Hambone's worst efforts.

Yeah I wondered what the hell happened there. I thought it was a brainfart, but I have had the E on him for about 3 weeks straight.

Glitch I reckon.

There were a couple of funky results in the second round of the Premier League this week with former Premier League champions Delicious and Q Before You opting to blame the reed in their after match press conferences. Both coaches made the rookie mistake of not putting the big E on big Maxxy when going for the loophole and Hondo and the REBCats gleefully cashed in. Well I can't speak for Hondo but I had plenty of glee.

In other results Honey Badgers had a solid win over the Sharks that sent the Badgers to the top and the Sharkies to stone motherless on the table. Ecky returned to some good point scoring but couldn't score enough to defeat Captain Who as the Captain had his best of SuperCoach round for the season. Richo Richo enjoyed the return to form of Yeo and the Pool Swimmers sank fast as they failed to score 2000 which won't scare too many in this company.

Congratulations to FISH who won their first Premier League match against Benny Rolfs while Inner Sanctum went the other way to get rolled by Has Been. Buddy Franklin and Poon Army remain unbeaten with the Poon Army combination somehow off to a flyer in Premier League and Elite despite scoring bugger all points this year, but any win over the hipster is a good one so Hambone is definitely up and about early on in 2018.

The Premier League is always a tightly run affair and just to survive you need more than your fair share of luck. So far if Ecky's Fevolas and the Sharks had no bad luck then they wouldn't have had any at all. Both sides have made losing close matches an art form in 2018 and while it is a long way short of relegation discussions these results could prove critical come the end of the year.

This year's breakout side is Honey Badgers and they are flying at the moment as their fellow top four sides keep falling over and they keep smashing teams such as the Longwood lions whose percentage took a battering. Other sides who couldn't get amongst the points this week included Richo Richo who must be employing Richmond's defensive game plan, Poon Army and the erratic REBCats. Other teams that are scoring just fine thank you very much include the league topping Benny Rolf who racked up an impressive 2400 and Delicious who returned to form after an off week against the REBCats in the last round. Both of the new teams are both in the top four now and the two oldest teams REBCats and Poon Army are now on the outer and badly in need of a win.

Honey Badgers early season form continued with a solid win over Captain Who while the promoted teams also consolidated their top four spots. There were a couple of upsets in Round 4 with Longwood Lions pulling off the big one with a massive (for this week) 2343 that smashed the reigning premiers out of the top eight. The REBCats also jagged an upset win against Benny Rolfs who somehow dropped 400 points from the previous week. Perennial power side Hondo has gotten off to a slow start this season and a sixty point loss to Richo Richo wasn't in the script. Dragging up the rear are Ecky's Fevolas and the Sharks who have lost that loving feeling and they might soon be gone gone gone....
