Question- With Jack Graham now suspended & ineligible to win the NAB rising star award, is he still able to be nominated if he plays well enough in any of the remaining rounds ?

Or will the AFL favour players who are still eligible you think?
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

He is still eligible for nomination, just can't win it.

Not sure on how they would think, a brilliant standout game still has to be acknowledged I guess.

Wish I was as confident as you that the swans would win. Got a bad feeling about Friday night

Leaning this way, but still undecided on Port, Freo and the Pies. Usually when one feels this way, there's upsets in the "lock"games lol

Who knows how they’ll look at it.
I remember Corey McKernan tied for the ‘96 Brownlow but was ineligible due to ridiculous suspension.
He polled votes in 4 of the first 5 games, was reported round 6 then only polled 4 of the last 17 matches. He should’ve got plenty more votes, trust me.
The AFL didn’t want a stand alone winner ineligible.

With the great North Melbourne sides of the 90’s and the players they had you do forget how good McKernan actually was.
He would tear Ryder, Jacobs, Kruezer etc apart if he played today.
Absolute gun!
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

He was the best player in the comp by a mile in ‘96 & at North for a couple of years he was more valuable than Carey.

I remember saying to some mates in 96-97 that we'll all tell our kids and grand kids that we saw McKernan play one day.

Yeah. Nah.

 Brutal
I reckon Trent Ormond-Allen could have been just as effective in the ruck with that midfield running around him...

Yep, disgraceful suspension, he also missed out on the 94 Rising Star award due to being suspended for tripping by hand.
