Can’t stand either side but it should be a good game and a packed stadium.
Oh and plenty of beers.
Could be a good game as well. And football + beer will always be better than work!

Enjoy the game. Hopefully Melbourne turn up and its. a good game

Supposedly some rain coming tomorrow evening and ANZAC Day morning :(

Where are GWS at? Are the crap at Etihad? Do they not travel well?

Something seems to be amiss there and has been for the past 24 months, is Leon the right man for that job?

Poorly coached and pretty boring to watch at times. Too many players not prepared to roll their sleeves up and get their hands dirty.

Yeah, they should go all out attack, their midfield is exquisite and if you have Cameron and Patton to deliver the ball to with Greene, Delidio and Shiel roaming around down there it should be like picking daisies.

Was only a matter of time before this rotation crap cost a side a win aswell. Whoever on the Giants coaching staff thought it was a good idea to have Shiel standing on the boundary line trying to get back on for the final minutes should be shot

Was definitely a decent length of time. You could tell he was desperately trying to get back on but the play was on the other side of the ground and they couldn’t get their rotations right

I was a bit baffled to see the free kick count 23 all fir the Brisbane Gold Coast although I only watched the last half.

Brisbane got crucified from what I observed, a Gold Coast player got a free, Miller went and struck the Brisbane lad in the throat so GC got a 50 to put them at point blank range and open up a buffer against the momentum, a couple more shockers late but in the end Brisbane just couldn't go forward with any conviction, they just blazed away or couldn't find targets, Zorko was having such a shocker that he thought he could change the game off his own boot but instead just got worse when the game mattered.

Common sense would've suggested someone come off from a pocket or something, he is in my top most valuable players in the AFL and needed to be out there, it would've made the difference IMO, he is an absolute Rolls Royce.

Is he injured? Not the same player he was last year for sure.

Interesting that nothing has been mentioned anywhere about Mitchells head high whack on Goldstein 50 metres off the ball.

Umpire saw it and gave a downfield free which saw North goal from it. Saw the vision and Mitchell has just run up and clouted Goldstein (not sure how he reached though)

Dont known but he hasnt fired a shot this year. Probably got something to do with the bath water he used in the off season and that stupid ******* Mo. The pathetic Mo's are the new man buns. Just wanted to punch that Zuhaar from North yesterday for no other reason than his Mo. Day like today would blow most of them off.

On a serious note maybe he was affected by the Higgins clash as well, either a bit of a concussion or mentally scarred from the damage he did. Or maybe Clarko ripped into him at some point and he sulked for the rest of the game. Watch the last quarter again, he was never interested

Yep in a bit of trouble, reaching up to get Goldy in the head is pretty deliberate!

Its been everywhere.
i suspect it will come back as not enough force, Goldstein said he didnt feel anything. Free kick and goal was the right penalty. May get a fine if Christian is in a mood for it

Thomas sent to the tribunal for his hit on Scott Selwood.

Thomas and Joel Selwood offered one match for striking in the ensuing scuffle. Boo, Selwood, booo....

Dangerfield $2000 for his full nelson on Westhoff.

Mitchell $1500 for striking Goldstein.

Siciliy referred to tribunal for serious misconduct on Atley.

Tuesday night shapes as a busy one for the Tribunal after Christian also referred Hawks defender James Sicily there on a charge of serious misconduct against North Melbourne's Shaun Atley.

The charge against Sicily arose from an incident during the second quarter of Sunday's game at Etihad Stadium when he stood on Atley's leg while the Roo was lying on the ground.

Daw fined $1500 for misconduct on D Howe.
