I understand you knew he got a phone call from the club, but its speculation if he knew about the girl reporting the incident to port or Ch7 before he came out to the clinic.

As I said do you really think the club would let him come out if they knew about it and the story that was about the break?

Hartlett confirmed ACL....

Scans have confirmed defender Hamish Hartlett has ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and will require surgery.

The 27-year-old will have a traditional knee reconstruction in the coming days and will miss the rest of the season.

He's been in our best every week this year, IMO. Terrible, timing.

That's now both shoulders and a knee recon.

I used to call him Adam Heartless as I thought he was a guy that picked and chose when to go. His effort and determination was certainly not negotiable last week. Feel sorry for any player who trains his guts out and then has to sit out a year. You only get so many of those in your career.

How's his hamstring going to go with a traditional reconstruction?

According to the original news report, She went to the club in the AM of that day and They (PAFC) arranged for counselling for her.

Port may not have known about her going to C7. And if they did, they probably were not aware of how it would be reported.

I don't understand why you'd go to a media outlet - what are you looking to gain out of it?

So here we are back to the original assessment and opinion of the girl that lots were quick to make... one which is totally unfair and unfounded, just like the original assessment and opinion of SPP was.

Dunno about that.
If that was the case & the integrity unit sussed her surely they'd say ''yeah ok we'll leave it at that''. You'd think that they'd be pretty worried that if they just dismissed it & the chick arked up to the media again the AFL would be well & truly on the back foot the feedback would be savage, reckon she wanted a bit more than just a warning.
According to the youngest groinfruit that club is a well known Power aftergame spot, you'd hope that ( if there were any other players there) they'd pull him off to a cab well before he was that soozled.

17 minute mark.
