United vs Balaklava - Draw. majority of last six games have been decided by less than a kick, so why not have a draw
Mallala vs Two Wells - Mallala by 27, easily the best side last year bar 1 game, will still be very strong despite some losses.
Virginia vs Angle Vale - Virgina by 45, No idea how this will go, Virginia lost a few but the ins are quality especially Stanley (0 points) who will obviously be one of the best players in the comp with his playing history.
Hummocks vs Hamley - Hummocks by 298 points. Buzz Taylor to be association leading goal kicker for the year as Hummocks have the advantage over other clubs of playing Hamley 3 times. He will kick 50 goals in those 3 and have 74 at the end of the season

Rich Charm in Race 8 at Caulfield. Get in now and use your power play and you might be able to get above $3.

Speaking of young champions of the APFL, I noticed a clearance lodged from Daniel Coombe from you guys to Mallala?

Don’t expect him to play for 2 years then

Most of the above was rubbish but obviously a few here jumped on rich charm as it was smashed in to salute at $2.25 on the tote. :D

Ha ha yeah im hearing you MH. Can see United taking the opportunity to finally get back at Pies for making the East brothers sit out for 2 years when they applied for clearances to United all those years ago.
Hopefully not tho as 2 wrongs dont make a right.

Great physical hard contest between Two Wells and Mallala yesterday. The scoreboard doesn’t really reflect how close the game felt but I think there is gonna be a few very sore lads from both teams during the week. I must admit I thought the umpiring wasn’t the best yesterday.... a couple soft free kicks given and few blatant free kicks not given for both teams. Your thoughts on that magpieeagle?

Hee?

Yes mate. Kid has signed a contract but when you're informed you're not in A Grade plans it seems a bit hypocritical to then not clear the kid. This isn't the coach either, he's happy to let him go, seems it's someone else who doesn't seem to understand that it makes their club look ridiculous.

Looks like there plans have changed Pag, Hee named in A's for Virginia

Seems like it. Dunno why I waste my time somedays.

Much learnt from round 1?

Hamley improved a little, along with Angle Vale?
Too early to judge on any others, I thought Angle Vale would've been closer to the Rams, especially in the reserves.

Good to see TW have a decent win over Mallala. Only their 5th or so over the magpies in a span of 11 or 12 years.

Tips for Tomorrow
Balaklava to beat Hummocks by 5 goals - After watching Balak last week they are fit and a very good side. Without seeing Hummocks play, they didn't win by as much as predicted so on that basis Balaklava it is.
Angle Vale to beat Hamley by 15 goals - Just a guess but can't see Hamley winning this
Two Wells to beat Virginia by 8 goals - Predicting to be close at half time before Virginia fade away.

Hawkesbury Race 9 Roman Son - Scheduled to run at 4:20pm. All you paid players ask for your match payments at half time, then watch your money double.
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

Very disappointing that not one A Grade Player from Two Wells or coaching staff came in for a beer after the game. Was a big crowd all day with Two Wells too good in the A's but doesn't take much to have a beer or two before heading back to your own club. Bit disrespectful I think.....??
