It was a dry run to gauge reaction. Will definitely happen next season.

The only aspect I don't like is the yellow ball, albeit unavoidable in the inevitability.
Yep very obvious they were looking at getting the feel for the reaction.

Cant be far away.

Yeah fair point. I didn’t hear too much outrage either which probably means it’s coming next year

Obviously the clash jumper rule only goes out the door for Collingwood/Essendon on ANZAC Day.

It’s not deemed as a clash that’s why.

Correct.
Those 4 are the only ones where we are obligated to wear our clash guernsey.

Don’t think we do against those 2 clubs. I’m not sure but think last year it was decided we had to use it against both WA teams aswell

I for one don't understand the fascination with the game being a twilight or night grand final. It seems the reason we're doing it is because of the spectacle at half time. When I'm at games or at home, I use half time to go and do something else. I'm not there for a concert. Why do we have to follow the American's with everything we do!

Because we're hooked, we're footy fans who'll watch the game no matter what.

However to "grow" the game, to give the sponsors maximum exposure to new markets, to "hook" new followers of teh game we already know is the best the marketing/corporate experts think a twilight GF is best.

We don't count it's the untapped market that's more important than us....

*sigh*
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

We tried to "grow" the game by bringing in Gold Coast and GWS and all that's done is rape the talent pool and pour millions of wasted dollars into two franchises nobody cares about.

Should never change the time or the venue!

The only shock is that it has taken this long to come out publicly. He has been in a bad way for many years

Absolutely, it wouldn't matter if Riley Reid was performing at half time, once that siren goes I'm out of there for 15 to 20 minutes.
