It was a good game today at Mofflin vs Gullies, We need to learn how to play 4 quarters are convert our chances. 2.8 in the first qtr. Still in the game with 5 minutes to go but Gullies took there chances. The most disappointing thing was Gullies players brought there own esky's in the change rooms after the game instead of coming in the club for a drink.

The irony of Central United complaining about what opposition clubs do in the away changerooms

But in all seriousness. Always a pleasure playing Houghton. Doing everything right the Raiders.

Playing with 18 and no bench in the magoos against a very solid side was tough going. Felt some of the blokes had a dip and managed to hit the scoreboard - which didn't look at all likely at 1/2 time.

Couldn't stay for the As, was off to watch the second half of the Pear. Glad we didn't have any discipline issues, we've made some strong statements internally lately to nip a bit of a trend in the bud.

I've said if it's the difference between forfeiting and not, then I'll fill in when I can.

That was the case this week, sadly.

I attended in uniform, jogged about a bit and tried to stir up Q., wouldn't call it "playing".

Thanks Morell, was a good day down at MP and with 11 changes I think I it was to the team from last week in the reserves, I was defently worried leading Into the game. Thanks for the jugs after the game as well!

So @Morell

Is there something you're yet to share with us?

The lady that sits next to me at work lives in Meadows. She said she was at the pub on Friday night talking to a couple that had just moved into town, when all of a sudden they propositioned her and said they were swingers

I asked if the blokes name was Morgan

So no one went in for a drink? I don't disapprove of the players having a beer together in the changerooms after the game as long as there's some representation afterwards, it's only a 15 to 20 minute drive back to Pertaringa.

Any feedback from the Marion Vs Mawson Lakes A grade game?
Mawson Lake's didn't receive many votes in the 'Who will win the D7 Grand Final?' poll but their results are showing they'll be right in the mix.. Possibly the same with St Pauls, with both of these teams to face off this week.

Mawson Lakes will pump St Pauls.

St Pauls are travelling well, but they've had the luxury of facing the bottom 3 sides in the opening month.

I still expect they'll finish closer to 10th than 1st, and Houghton/Central United should be around the mark when the whips a cracking.

Should be interesting when the cold whether comes, some of these better sides appear to lack some depth through their B grade, could bring them back with the pack.
