All but there Jim. Still mathematically possible for Everton to catch us but a whopping 17 goal difference to make up

Shocking game today. Brighton play a horrible brand of football that requires a stronger ref than the one we had. Murray’s assault on Lennon was a disgrace. Clearly had no intention of playing the ball, In fact the ball wasn’t there for him to play, and had he not just been booked 5 mins earlier, I’m sure he would have seen a yellow card. There were off the ball incidents all day and some of the tackles were a joke. By far the worst team and the worst game of foot6 at the Turf this season.

Anyway, Arsenal next week. Let’s hope we spoil Arsene’s leaving party but to be honest I think it will be a big ask. You would expect the gunners to pull out all the stops for their manager.

Interesting results at the other end. Baggies won, keeping their ever so feint hopes alive, Stoke drew for the 2nd game running and Saints pulled one out of the hat to put pressure on Swansea who lost to Chelsea. Still have a game in hand but must be getting nervous. Think it is 3 from 2 now with WBA already gone.

There's a tiny obstacle in Madrid to worry about before the final.

Touchy!
It's OK, I empathise with you as I remember when we used to be a middle of the road club that's only joy was beating Somethingstan in Europa whilst battling with Burnley and Everton for ladder position.

Everton don’t count. Even we don’t see them as a threat. Maybe the best of the rest, but that’s it. ;)

Ha-ha,
Here’s the facts. Jay Rod is a Burnley lad from mixed background, hence his last name Rodriquez ( hardly a Lancashire name )
Bong is in his face screaming at him.
Jay Rod waves his hand in front of his mouth and tells Bong his breath stinks
Bong accuses him of a racist remark
It’s investigated, as any racist claim has to be these days no matter how unlikely, and there is no proof so there is no action taken.

On to the game.
Because Jay Rod is a Burnley lad and played for the Clarets through the youth team until he was sold for £7m to Soton, the Clarets fans decided to let Bong know how they felt about his spurious racist claim. Referring to him being “one of our own” is about him a) coming from Burnley and B) being a claret player for at least 10 years.

Hughton is a prick trying to make something out of nothing and failing to mention his own fans rendition of “ a town full of pakis, you’re just a town full of pakis” where the reference paki is a racist and derogatory term for all Asian’s and not as in Aust as an abbreviation for Pakistanis like Brits is an abreviation of British.
Shame he wasn’t so shocked about that.

Yep, both sides couldn’t be stuffed being out there. Was just lucky that Ospina is junk

Beaten Real Madrid, finished higher than Arsenal 2 years in a row, won nothing in over 10 years and doesn’t care about losing semi finals. They’re a big club Benny
