R.Gray v Wines in the last and I held an 80 odd point lead.. Gray gets knocked out and doesn't play the rest of the game, then Wines goes off for a concussion test but comes back on in the last quarter to get Daisy over the line..
Really hate this game at times...

A lot of the top eight sides crashed to defeat in Round 16 as the bottom ten fought back. DAISY, the Superboots, Trotters, Strut and Underbelly all got rolled with Chicken Noodles, the Carnts and the Roosters getting the drop on their top four rivals. Shane left a couple of tons on the bench and fielded Lachlan Keefe in a classic SuperCoach clanger in a week in which some of the lower ranked sides prospered.
Killer Wombats scored a massive 2603 to lead the scoring but it might be a case of ‘too late she cried’ as ZedForce has a one game advantage with percentage in hand after they ended the Poo Wings’ season. Jimmy Crack Corn is probably the only side in the bottom four that can displace ZedForce with the bottom three going down.
The battle for the top eight appeared to be over a few weeks ago but Underbelly’s fall from grace has opened the door belatedly for True North and Chops Clots who were worried about relegation not all that long ago. Summer of George is also an outside chance but that poor percentage for Poo Wings sees them miss out. Despite a poor loss this week, Straycat Strut appear secure with a healthy percentage.
So in the last round we have five sides playing off for three top four spots, four sides playing off for the last top eight spot and the relegation battle is now down to two teams with only one getting to stay up. A cracking finish to the season.
