Interesting... is it a big oval?

Looking at the results Mawson Lake's home form certainly seems to be better than what they have been producing on the road.

Hmm think it's a pretty standard size, about the same length as OSB at a guess, perhaps a little wider? Well feels that way given the open space.

Does the golf course affect the oval at all, I notice the oval is only a kick away from 9th tee.

The 8th green and 9th tee are in the middle of where the old oval was, isn't the current oval where the Rugby pitch used to be?

Correct. In fact the old club song is still in chalk in the visitors change rooms along with names and numbers

- In the past from memory there has been a soccer ground marked I think? It's inside the left hand side boundary by a few metres and can cause a little confusion.

Bugger! How long do you leave it until you make the call or is the Friday night ring around still underway? Been there and its not fun. Never envy the job of the coach in this situation.

If GG were keen, they should sling you a couple of players so the game still plays.
Winning by 20 goals is much better for their % than accepting the 10 goal forfeit win.

aside from being outside of the current rules - perfect idea. Who is to say we would win by 20 goals if MP got a side together anyway. Apart from the games against Marion and Houghton they have been more than competitive. We were never treating this game as a sure thing.
