We all have our opinion but if you read a lot of reactions over the last 2 weeks then you have your head in the sand regarding Port fans and Ken Hinkley. My opinion is that you were crazy to sign the bloke last year like you did.

Again, let’s revisit this topic in 3-4 weeks.

There's a line about opinions I could use... but let's just say you're entitled to yours. I'm happy to revisit this anytime you like. Give me Hinkley over Mr Personality any day. :D

So Mark Williams didn't coach you in 2004?

Pulling these numbers from my jacksy:

I reckon 50% would be reasonably ambivalent towards Ken. As in, neither here nor there. 25% would be your happy clapper types that would support anyone and everyone not matter what.

Then there would be 25% who want change. Think the list is in excellent shape and if coached by someone with a more positive mindset could contend for a flag right now.

I'd suggest the last group is the one that's growing most rapidly...

It's stunning.

The other thing people need to be mindful of is the work the other mids do to make it possible too. Watch what Ebert does for that goal. Completely blocks out the goal side and prevents Gibbs from getting to Gray.

Truly selfless team play from him. He does it every week, too.

Yep good call. As we know these days space is a rare commodity, but that group works it well to leave RG room to move (not that he needs much).

40 seconds to go, Howards pumps the ball long, Neade creates a contest, spills, Gray handballs to Motlop - goal.

Curious, why don't sides roll the dice more often during the games like this, instead of waiting until they literally have no choice?

Is it time football went back a little old school and had more stay at home forwards, and give them space to work into? I'd like to see it.

Especially with Port's line up, back each bloke to win their position.

Absolutely. Shits me when there's one team that is successful with a method so everyone then copies them.

Surely people would realise that the copies are never as good.

Develop a game plan, system and method which best takes advantage of your players strengths and minimises their weaknesses. Instead of just copying last years Premiers.

Rockliff blocks Brown, Ryder taps one backwards about 10m with the laces facing Gray and the ball about chest high. It's a thing of beauty.

Beat me to it, Boon.

2 blocks, one from Rockliff and another from Ebert, required to execute that play. The finished product was glorious, but selfless work doesn't go unnoticed.

Gray's god-like 3rd quarter won him the medal, but Rocky was just as outstanding. His work at the coalface on saturday night, particularly given the media scrutiny directed at our mids surrounding contested footy, was simply brilliant.

Yeah but he struggled against Nord in the SNAFU so isn't worth the 1.2 Billion were paying him /safootylogic
