At thew moment there's a cab sav called "Parson's Paddock" going for $36 a six pack at First National, it's usually $14 a bottle but tastes like it should be more, a very smooth drop.

We love a good red, we even have a book that we enter each bottle that we consume to rate on price vs taste, the Vintner's I speak with reckon the dear bottles are a pure gimmick, I've found $10 reds that shit all over $50+ bottles.

You’ve found $10 Reds that shit !! :D

I know it’s pricey but if you get a chance to try their Wild Witch Shiraz - do it!

I love this weather. What red is with the shanks?

I had shanks at the Great Eastern at Littlehampton yesterday and we drink, Stonemason shiraz from Currency Creek. Solid wine, great value.

I took a gamble and cracked open a 2003 Italian Zinfandel I found in the back of the cupboard behind some more recent reds. I thought it would be a bit of a gamble and maybe past it, but it was really good. (possibly because it had a synthetic cork that was being experimented with in those days).

My wife who died in 2008 was the red collector so I've found a few interesting ones as I've unpacked the boxes they all travelled back to Adelaide from Melbourne in.

The Hedonist is a good shiraz, Parson's Paddock Cab Sav is going for $36 for 6 at First Choice at the moment, usually $84, very smooth for it's for it's price, the Cab Sav is better than their Shiraz.

Took your advice and got some Parsons paddock wines.
The cab sav is good for the price but you can stick the Shiraz!

For that price you certainly can’t complain though.

Good call.

As far as reds go Church Block is one of the favs at our pub, only Pepperjack would sell more.

Yeah I think Church Block is around $6 a glass where Pepperjack is $9.50.
Fair call.
I personally can't drink any reds so wouldn't know.
