Coming home after a long sixteen and a half hour day & my lovely lovely has made slow cooked lamb shanks.
Cupla quick froths on the drive home, the red’s already open on arrival and I’ll be chucking zeds within an hour.

Tonight’s rib eyes coming up a treat. Bit chilly outside cooking them. Footy on the radio, Carlton tin on the go and a bottle of red selected to top it off.

Sadly in Britain we seem to have a culture that celebrates failure and wants the successful to fail. Irrespective that those successful ones employ people and generate wealth for the country.

Thanks mate. In reality it's just me doing my job, but some work comes along a little tougher than others and the major projects in Adelaide are getting more and more competitive as suppliers from Melbourne put their numbers into tenders. It's nice to put some work into something major and get the rewards for doing so.
PAFC. Forever.

LOOK OUT, WE'RE COMING!

1. people noticing ive lost weight and fitter
2. Getting some attention from the ladies 8)
3. my low days aren't as bad as they used to be...

most importantly the time I am spending with my girls is much more "quality" compared to early in the piece I don't think I was being a great dad...

Two of my best mates have children from previous relationships and do it really well. As you have said, they don't take the time they spend with them for granted anymore which would arguably make them better parents than when they were around full time

I think so too mate... after the break up I wasn’t exactly present. Physically I was, but mentally I was a mess and the girls weren’t getting the best of me.

I have always been there for them, but our time together now is so much more special... I have them 50/50
