Don't worry, apparantley Cleary ****** his story big time and got the Lynch's mixed up & it was the GC Lynch in Melbourne. What a W****r!

Tom Brown on Talking Footy Monday night said Adelaide's Tom Lynch was on the same flight as Brown, Carey and BT to Melbourne on Saturday morning after the Friday night game.

If Tom Lynch can go home and get paid alot more for a team that is close to its premiership window then he should go for it.
It’ll be his last contract and he’s never been on big $$ so he should make the most of his last contract.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

The Lynch interview on 5AA was a shocker on the weekend, basically said he was gone without saying it....again if he was staying they would have signed by now.

He’s a solid player but not worth $700k over 4 years.
Adelaide’s offer sounds pretty good IMO

And when has Jars ever been right?

Principally I agree. But with the huge salary increases in recent years sees $600-650 isn’t big money in AFL list terms.

Lynch in our opinions may not be worth that but what is he worth to Adelaide? From the outside looking in I think he is a very important cog in that side.

He is that lead up/link player and does a great job at it but in reality he is still just that 3rd tall.
$700k for a 3rd tall sounds crazy.

How old is he? 26 or 27? Will be his final long term contract and he is at max value atm i would think as i can't see him getting much better (happy to be wrong), Lynch obviously wants the best contract possible as he knows after this he will be either finished or be on 1 year contracts each year onward. TBH, i think the Crows (if the reported offer above is correct) have got it right. Maybe could get it to 600 per yr. I think Lynch might really want that 4th year so he can get around 2.5 or 2.6 over 4 instead of getting 3 years at around 1.8 and then his next contract being 1 year at 250-300.

The crows should sign him up for as long as he wants and throw him whatever he wants.
