I grew mine over the Xmas break. I love not having to shave every day for work.

I used to do the same. Call it laziness, call it freedom, but I’d always grow a beard over the Xmas break. I’d trim it and shave round the edges for the first week back at work and then end up shaving it off on the 1st week end.and stay clean shaven until the next Christmas break.

I don’t grow it now as it is totally grey. My hair, or rather what’s left of it, on the other hand is still mostly it’s natural brown colour, hence brown hair + grey beard = tit. :D

No.

Just no.

there are some people which you can accept beards on and some that should just not have a beard.

Ash Man is one of the latter. I love naked Ash much better, in a manner of speaking

I've thought about it recently, the longest I can go is 3 days and then it's off. The fun police is going away for a week soon, might see how I go then.

Ive gone a year before. I clean shaved just before Xmas, and have kept it down, maybe shaved once a fortnight. Right now its the longest its been this year.

Theres a stage in the middle of clean and full blown beard that looks terrible. That's where I'm at now.

How long have you been going now?

I'd still rate it as barely stubble.

Optimum stubble coverage is three days after shaving for me.

PS: I don't think I've actually ever seen him literally nude  I just meant face nude.

Do you accept my facial growth?

Haven't been clean shaved since ANZAC weekend 2010. Once a week with a beard trimmer is all it gets.

I can accept 3 day growth type set ups, as long as its neat.

But if Ash went grey tomorrow he'd look like father Christmas.

I did liken him to Tom Hanks in Castaway.
