Cheers to the eastern park boys who came upstairs for a beer.

Was good to chat and meet a few of the boys.

Some really good people involved at eastern park.

Lol yeah of course, why would we stop him from playing in such a dominant outfit like kilburn? Who are just waiting until the back half of the year to start winning games.. shrek, don’t act like we haven’t had a blast together in the past! You enjoy my occasional posts

No need to thank us mate, always enjoy sinking a beer or 6 on the road.. both teams played hard all day, was a good game to watch!

Funny story yesterday (or I thought so)

EP ruckman 40 metres in the clear screaming for the ball but the player with the ball went for a different option. The ruckman was going absolutely crazy at his team mate when he didn’t kick it to him until he realised he was 15 metres outside the boundary line ( for those that know he was close to one of our light poles) . The look on his face when he realised where he was was priceless

Kilburn has 10 missing and played the better footy for 3 outta the 4 qtrs. When their full squad is back good luck!!!

Surely your taking the piss? I’m pretty sure everyone is sick of hearing “when kilburn has there full team” lol.. we are almost half way through the season and kilburn are sitting 3rd to bottom? If it wasn’t for us losing points during the week you would be in relegation zone.. nobody has their full squad playing every game, teams learn to adapt to that! Obviously you don’t because for the last 6 weeks all we keep hearing is how good kilburn are gonna be when they get these “15 stars” back in the team haha.. it’s probably time to stop talking shit on the forum and start trying to get the boys into gear, save yourself from playing division 5 next year!!

So incredibly well said. Premiership teams have depth and that’s something Kilburn clearly don’t have. Top end talent can win flags in the lower grades but Div 4 and above requires more than that.

On another note, how awesome are the facilities at Webb Oval?

The last time I was there (2015), Glenunga was in the middle of the rebuild, so this was the first I'd seen of the new setup.

Top notch, in my humble opinion.

Also, kudos to Foxy in Glenunga's B Grade; he's a ripping bloke.

Keeping in mind that the only 2 posters that have written this don't play for the footy club. There isn't one guy in the side that is making excuses for the injuries. We've made in roads on our form but need to put it together for 4 quarters.

Eastern park to remain on -1 after the tribunal cleared us of the second headbutting charge.. Massive thank you to kilburn and Scott Galbraith in particular who probably had a chance to bury our season tonight but did the complete opposite and backed frielly and our football club 100%

Definitely earnt plenty of respect from a lot of people tonight, look forward to the return game later in the year and the beers will be on me the next few times we bump into each other! Champion

Did Pooraka lose any points after their 2 recent suspensions, or are they no longer on AAA?

Lucky you didn’t lose more points or Knapp would have put in a clearance to Ironbank.
