Blue Steel safety boots with zip sides......tie up the laces once a week!

Blue Steel safety shoes with laces, I'm mainly in the office but have to venture out into the factory quite often, boots are an overkill and I feel weird in them, the shoes are great as they actually look like any business shoe.

Have been wearing Puma safety shoes/boots for about 5 years now... best brand I've worn in the 20+ years of work

Boots I got right now cost me $250 for the pair even if I paid $500 I'm going to get at least 10 years out of them, with maybe $300 in heel/sole replacements over that period

I'm looking at $55 a year in work shoes or if I'd paid full tote odds $80 in shoes a year. With what I was previously doing I'm looking at $100 a year in shoes over a 10 year period.

What I've learnt over time is that buying quality is cheaper in the long run
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Anyone got a suggestion for good comfortable black leather/leather look alike trainers that would suit hospitality? (ie look like dress shoes from a distance)
My New Balance shoes might need replacing soon, were very comfortable but slippery as **** on a wet floor which doesn't suit my job. How the hell I haven't gone arse over tit in the kitchen yet is beyond me, had a few close calls.

Apologies if replying to a mere tap jockey is below anyone. ;)

I'm a prostitute on Hanson Road but working at a pub in Beverley is my front.

How is the Dunlop volley a safety shoe?
Would barely protect you if you dropped a pen on your foot.

Or do they actually work as a safety shoe?

Not sure if you’re taking the p*ss or not? ;)

No there is a safety version. Steel cap, and more heavy duty.

I'm wearing them right now.

Cheers.
I’ll have to google it and get some for the one day a year I need them.

Do you work in a pub?

No, on the street mate. I only go to the pub to freshen up.
You should know that, I slipped my business card to you during our last "meeting". ;)

Clark’s for me. Extra wide fit to suit my Bunyan
By a new pair of the same style every year, around £30.00

I buy Clark’s casual shoes, even brogues. Comfy as an be. All leather and the brogues are as good any
