Getting a text this morning that an ump has had to pull out of a game today due to ill health, and can I take the appointment. It’s my daughters women’s div 3 game!

Game over & home now. Miss C did not feature in the votes. Funny story from today, umpired with our "boss" who is an ex AFL ump. Asked him who gave him the best spray ever at half time.

Watching those storage wars shows you know they stretch the truth to what they say items are worth and what people will pay for it.

This takes the cake though!

The sporting weekend which I just had (the only way I can get through it is to laugh!):

My house at school, Campion, came fourth out of four, in House Performances
Both squash teams I looked after lost 4-0
Centrals were mercilessly squished
Western Bulldogs could not kick a goal after half-time
1st XV111 lost by 130 points
2nd XVIII lost by 60 points
Year 10’s lost by 157 points
My Badminton team lost 6-0
Liverpool lost the European League Final (thanks to two howlers)
Crows did a Centrals in Alice Springs
England were humbled by Pakistan (the seventh-ranked International side, whom even Ireland nearly beat!)
A Bulldog in winter; a WTDCC Eagle and OICC Wolf in Summer!

Hey, I was a Campion Champion!

Except we were good when I was there ;)

In fairness, St Ignatius has never been up there in terms of footy schools.

The only remotely good footballers to come out of the school in my time were Tom Warhurst and the Kelly brothers.
Don't play games with a girl who can play 'em better...

Drug and alcohol testing today at work, this one person shits themselves every time, they just took some orders to get takeaway, I said to everyone "they wont be back today".

All of a sudden there's a message to their manager saying they've been called away for a family emergency, it bemuses me how they get away with it, I know they're on something most days, sometimes they look like they could see around corners.

Point taken, although we have beaten PAC twice and St. Peter's once in my time here.
Lately we have produced a few Norwood footballers: Kristian Roocke, Michael Chippendale and Will Abbott. Our long-serving coach, Justin Scanlon, was also a handy 'Legs footballer. Another two Ignatians of note were Greg Gallman and Joe Pedler (admittedly, only as a teacher in the latter case).
Cheers to my fellow Campion Champion (oh, we did win three swimming championships in a row in my early days... but hardly anything since). :D
