I always wait till noon as I'm extra considerate and mindful of people that do late/night shifts.

It is just a courtesy thing, we live next to a corner house and have a huge entertaining area, it seem as though the dude adjacent to us waits until we're winding down on a Sunday arvo to do his so it echo's under it,m payback's a bitch though.

I did a survey of my community and no-one does, I'm the one that works latest (2.30am) but I'm up well before noon.

So you mow on alternate Thursdays, because you know your neighbours will be out feeding their pension to the pokies...

There hasn't been a rigid pension pay day since the 90s!
Most of my gaming customers aren't pensioners anyway but I do work mainly nights.

I tend to agree with this, though the Sunday morning is somewhat flexible, depending on if they drug addled d*ckheads behind us have had one of their Saturday night Hyper-Parties which has music that causes the windows in our house to vibrate until 3:00am Sunday morning...

Then I will tend to start the lawnmower at about 7:00am which is syncronised with the other neighbours, to provide a little alarm clock for the idiots...

ordinarily i would agree, however lately i have been "one of those" mowing earlier.

with an open inspection nearly every weekend, and all the other cleaning/tidying/hiding stuff on top of kids sport i have gotten a start earlier than that a couple of times. no complaints as yet though. although if this sale keeps dragging on it might start to get tiresome. good thing we are already planning on moving!

Ok, imagine this.

There's 3 unsolved murders that the police have been investigating for nearly two decades.

After lengthy investigations the police tell the public that they have been able to find a genetic link ( DNA, I assume ) to all three cases. Wowee. Sounds like they might know who it was.The police reveal they have spoken to the person who has their genetic material linked to all 3 unsolved murders.

Would you then invite news crews into your lounge room to tell them it's not you but you do hope they find who it was?
