Seriously considering dumping the driver from the bag.......come to the realisation that the home track doesn't need it.

Given already have one open spot for a club now need to work out if its 2 wedges go in or 1 wedge and a 3 iron.

Umm so-so. Assuming you have had the same amount of rain over there as we’ve had here I’d say you’d be fine. If you don’t like damp toes don’t head that way in July/August. The worst spots are on the back nine, 13th fairway, in front of the green on 15 and parts of the 18th fairway can all get boggy after heavy rains.

Mt Barker should be OK even after a bit of rain, it has been so dry it should all soak up nicely, it only gets boggy after consistent rainy periods days on end

Shot a 98 at Flaggy last Friday, very scratchy, although I was pretty happy with nothing worse than a double bogey being the first game since Koey in Feb, just couldn't get the par's I was after, only had 2 one on the 7th and the 18th. Heading to the 18th I was on 92 and need 7 or under to beat the ton, happy with a par to finish.

Booked in for 18 at Port Hughes Sunday morning, hoping to shoot around 90 if the winds aren't up, heading up tomorrow morning so might see if I can duck over for some practice in the arvo.....the road to Royal Melbourne continues.

The Pirate & I are in Pt Hughes from tomorrow for 3 nights too. Have the families in tow which makes golf difficult.

Nice one, Pt Hughes tavern doesn't have fox? We will be there Sunday arvo watching the Crows game post golf.

We have kids in tow however they are at the age that they can ride around town, go fishing and look after themselves (importantly not annoy their Mums) = leave pass for golf.

2 Sports available for our tee off at 9.20am if you can swing it ;)

Would love to play but no chance this time.
There’s no Fox at the Tavern (I rang them)
Note, I’m pretty sure the Crows game is on a 165 minute delay on channel 7 & doesn’t come on until 6:55pm.

Ahh FFS, the one time I want a Crows game to be live, might need to head into Moonta but that is going to mean one of us needs to stay sober :(
