How bad is the umpiring getting? If youre in a 2 on 1 just run into the spare player and he will get done for blocking. Its pathetic

Hope it's better than this shit. Midget Bulldogs making nuffies like Dixon and Westhoff look like Wayne Carey.

It's actually what is ruining football for me.
Continue to make rules without thinking how the player will exploit it.
And then fall for it when players milk it.

Port not ruthless, should really be laying the smackdown against this mob.

26K or so the crowd

Looks this this game might surpass the 200 point barrier. From the bits and pieces I've seen there has been some good footy played in the conditions.

Not Ruthless because they're not that good
To only outscore the Bulldogs by 4 goals after quarter time when the Bulldogs had almost no bench due to injuries was ordinary and a credit to the Bulldogs.
Despite kicking 20 - 12 Port were still inefficient around goal. 3rd term Boak, Westhoff and Dixon all missed sitters that you just cant afford to do against the Top teams.
Boaks kicking is a worry, has little penetration and anything more than 30 - 35 m from goal looks to pass off.
Ordinary % will cost Port a Top 4 spot.
Will finish 5th - 6th, maybe win a final but thats about it.

Good win without being anything special. Did what we needed to, no more. Was impressed with the Bulldogs fighting the game out as they did after having little to no bench.

Robbie was all class tonight, Wingard finding some consistency, Wines showed why he should be captain next season. Boak was terrible

Can’t believe the Dogs/umpires knocked us of in 2016, considering how Footscray are doing now. They are junk.

May have something to do with that you guys don’t have extra players on the field every week now...
