This is unwatchable. If someone had just arrived in Australia and was seeing the game for the first time, you could excuse them for asking...so what are the teams trying to do?
1961, 1971, 1976, 1978, 1983, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1991, 2008, 2013, 2014, 2015.... And don't you forget it!

In all seriousness though this my exact point.

A tight arm wrestle, whose gonna crack first, what players are going to stand up etc

I don’t mind it.

1 vs 3 and they just turn the ball over ad nauseum, its horrible, mainly because there is outnumbers behind the ball both ways

Perceived pressure of two teams who play a high intensity game with lots on the line.

Game will open up once one side cracks.... who cracks or who lifts their skills first days.

its all about stats and fantasy points. The games ****** when your abilty to help out in the 18 man press and tackle carries more weight than wether you can pierce the big white sticks half a dozen times a game. All 18 coaches to blame, please dont let them have a say in the direction of the game, theyve been ruining it for 15 years.

If the 7 shots on goal were all accurate and it was 4-3 would it have made that quarter so much more entertaining.

Skill level from both teams when not under pressure is abysmal.
