Don't know who made the bigger brain snap, Risdon getting caught out in the biggest match of his life, or that French defender.

Watching the game tonight, no wonder this sport has no respect amongst real men in this country. The way Hernandez went down there must of been a second spitter. Poor sport, unfortunately AFL ain't to far behind these days

I've had harder contact hugging my 95 year old grandma than what Hernandez had tonight but as long as it's within the rules, how does a guy like that go home to a woman. Pain of child birth vs the pain of a brush from a passing fly, Hernandez and many more like you are piss week.

Pretty awesome result really. Aussies played well and were really organised which bodes well for our other games. We don’t have the firepower going forward but we have the ability to get results with the way we set up

Don’t see us advancing but we could easily get a result in one or both of our remaining games

Unfortunately there was contact made so for me it was a pen. It didn’t lose us the game as we equalised shortly after. We lost the game because stupidly we didn’t park the bus and settle for a draw. We allowed the game to open up far too much and got stung.
We do need to learn to exaggerate contact though, it’s a part of the game and we have always been too proud to do it which is often to our detriment

Did I say that? weather you like it or not that carry on is part of the game and happens in every league and competition throughout the world. I don’t like seeing the every four year wankers come on bag it especially when no one is making you watch it

The play acting is here to stay and won’t be leaving anytime soon. It’s up to the ref to stamp it out early and unfortunately it took him a while.

When he says he does this to his son . Because he watched a game of a sport that he despises once and saw a few players fall over .

Beer muscles or not, this happens at junior level in this country, my lad has come off the pitch a few times disappointed that opposition players have taken a dive and been rewarded a penalty. He is bewildered when I tell him it's part of the game. So yes too many beers last night, apologies to soccer lovers as mentioned it's blokes like me who only watch the big tournament's that bag it out. Hernandez is still a soft prick though, beer or no beer ;)
