Uni have approached Adcock to replace BORGAS. Will be interesting if he gets back to club cricket with his role at SACA. Will be great for Comp to have Adcock back involved.

East Torrens likely going back to the future with Bradbrook. What does that say about their club not attracting any quality?

Rumours about Adelaide untrue - players very happy with SIEGERT and club is on the right path

Woodville losing Turley to prospect not true. The underlining matter is the club are well financed to pay players, and he is putting pressure on them to put money on the table. SACA don’t care how many runs he makes, he is not Putting pressure on valente or robins. He needs to bowl quicker

Glenelg is the most stable club with not many movements on and off the field, and after last year making a semi and our best batter hardly playing post Christmas, Hoffman will be better as well - Muggs and Higgo have the boys primed

Backing up the previous two posts with regards to East Torrens ‘lack’ of being able to attract quality. Wayne is to continue in a coaching capacity at the club, however there will be announcement on structure and an appointment from overseas.

Also to suggest Wayne is not quality shows your lack of knowledge of the type of pedigree of the man. Would be sought after by many clubs and I believe has turned down lucrative offers from other clubs to continue on at East Torrens.

Turley is 100% signed at Prospect, have had this confirmed by a number of people.

As seen on the ET facebook page they've announced Steve Stubbing's as an Assistant to Bradbrook, Thats 7,500 first class runs an all time SACA leading run scorer and first class coaching experience from my research, you'll struggle to find better a better coaching pair than that in SA. With a young home grown group(completely from ET juniors or brought up through the grades) and elite new facilities going up, the lads out East may be in for a big few years, the ones to watch in my book.

TF11 - one of the Glenelg coaching staff mentioned in your post not in the same capacity as last season!
Still a young list, however they did beat Adelaide to a signature from a player from GDCC's zone

Only 2 applicants for the reigning premiers coach position. Surprising considering their success over the years and young talent coming through.

Very surprising.... With an experienced A grade squad and good leaders in all grades,( that always contributes and puts back into the club and its younger players) I have know doubt that the future is bright and further success will continue @ TTG.

Huge commitment to be a grade cricket coach - Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday for six months plus a lot of Sundays, especially if you're a top end side.

Adelaide Uni opening merger discussions?

Perhaps if their Uni is willing their cricket team will too?

Could have interesting repercussions if the academic merger goes ahead.

Surely not? Where are our TTG posters?

Can't lose an Australian junior player. Will be a star.

Id suggest it is out of TTGs hands. Uni's offer would be unmatchable by TTG.

Without doubt if this occurs there are $$$ or a free uni degree at play.... and if this is the case the fact that a 16 year old kid has been offered such incentives to change clubs is a joke and will only strengthen the image that Uni has!!

Uni's development program working wonders again
Don't have to clear a player until they are 18!
Would be nice to see Uni work with local schools to capture players not already involved with a PC club and develop them via their ATCA sides rather than poaching from other PC clubs junior programs, Adelaide High, CBC, Pultney three schools of the top of my head all within the CBD.

All schools sit in the development zone of a rival club ;)

Yeah but not all kids are selected to play for that rival club and you can not be picked by your zoned club but go and play for a rival neighboring club without a clearance if you have not played with them before

I’m hearing this move from TTG is being pushed by CA pathways in Brisbane, to get KB more of an opportunity up the order.

The on field opportunities that he has been promised by Uni are the same as what he would have gotten @ TTG this coming year. But yes he was promised things @ Uni ie. batting up the order but these were the same that would have occurred @ TTG.

It must be said that on this point a lot of young kids these days want a lot more in a quicker time frame - It must be noted that @ age 16 Travis Head spent most of the year batting at 7 biding his time gaining experience before being promoted the following year. these days there are a lot more looking for a hand out rather than wanting to do the hard work. This is not a crack @ KB but more of a comment on sport/society in general!

Really?

That's bullshit if so. The kid is obviously coming along alright if he's in these programs so maybe that's a sign that his club has been good for him?

Surely CA wouldn't get involved at that micro level.
