Probably some way to explaining despite all the talent in the world he hasn’t been signed by a bigger club than Celtic.

I don't think you will upset anyone with that comment....he's so frustrating. I was really disappointed that he stayed with Celtic. He's not going to realise his full potential playing in the SPL.

There are going to be many highly paid individuals at Optus without a job in a few weeks. What a massive **** up!

Yep!

They paid $8M for their share of the rights and would have tried to turn it into lots of new subscribers - and if it worked perfectly it would have been great PR for them.

But not it’s the opposite, there will be lots of people leaving because of this

It's not just that. Maybe I'm giving the FIFA too much credit here but if they had any sense of business they would tell Optus to go and get stuffed with any televising bids in the future including the EPL with the help of English Football authorities. The damage that has been done to the brand is irreversible for the short term. There potentially could be the situation where FIFA will not give them the option of showing finals.

SBS would not be out of the dark here either as they on sold these rights to an incompitent broadcaster.

Optus are currently in the process of looking at taking over all of the major leagues. I will be devastated if they take on the Serie A

I reckon Optus might want to hire the blokes that got OJ off in the 90's. Any negotiations they have had up until now have been pisssd away.

Is it ironic that now that Optus hand over the rights that the stream is much improved... must be the lack of traffic no that everyone is watching SBS...

On to the game, Morocco have shown glimpses of attractive, fluent play but just cant find that last ball or cross.

Morocco have been the better side here, couldn't score in a brothel, but the better side... Oh and FFS I can't stand Ronaldo as a player... So talented, amazing skills and ruins it with diving and try to get players booked...
