Like Footy Park though it’ll always be Adelaide Oval regardless of the ‘name’ some sponsors gives it.

Footy Classified Monday night, talking about Thursday night football, Chris Judd with a wry grin on his face says :

"The only thing better than Friday night football is Thursday night football. An old team mate of mine, Ben Cousins used to say that. I guess it means different things to different people".

Jaeger O'Meara asked by BT on Talking Footy last night :

"Before you joined the Hawks you would have known of some of the players, anyone surprised you since you've been there?"

"Yeah, James Sicily, I thought he was a bit of a tosser when I played against him but he's actually pretty switched on."

You know what show I really enjoy each week - Front Bar.

Constant light hearted comedy, combined with reasonable guests (except Kekovich last night), and they don't get real serious talking week to week footy issues.

Plus it's set in a bar with beers.

Agree we watch front bar every week. Enjoy it for the same reasons as you.

While I don’t enjoy breaking this news to you.... the show is recorded in the 7 studios at Docklands.

Mrs C has our name down to be in the audience soon. We are in the wait list. A girl she works with put us into it and she insists our names will come up this season and we will get tickets. Hope they serve beers in the audience.

Still no love lost between SOS and Lloyd. SOS is in complete denial about the state of their list though

I think the state of Carltons list is perfect and they should keep going in this direction.

HOORAY (except for Kane)

The reason they failed last time was because instead of broadcasting Melbourne SEN they brought in Mark Aiston et al which copied the 5AA format.

At least this will offer something to those that don't want to hear about how wonderful the Crows and Port are every 5 minutes of every day.

I don't think that's the case Jim. I saw the interview and whilst he's saying we're ordinary we are heading in the right direction. The club has at least shown some sort of backbone in going to three drafts and even though we've picked up rejects from other clubs, we do have to put someone on the field other than kids.

What I've heard from Carlton members in Melbourne is that when the current board went into the club, the place was in disarray. We were the last club to have a full time list manager (not an excuse, in fact that's out and out poor management!). So we're starting off on a VERY low base.

Time will tell whether this bunch of kids will make the grade. But at least I think we're heading in the right direction.

Oh, and Lloyd had to have a last chip at SOS didn't he? Pillock.

Yeah thank God really. It really needs to be the Melbourne type shoe or don't bother really.

It's a good time for SEN for another crack at Adelaide simply because clearly 5AA have lost the plot with bringing back KG. SEN obviously believe the time is right now.

Interesting that Rucci announced he was leaving 5AA. The crows board on Bigfooty is going off with excitement, they haven't joined the dots yet to work out he'll end up somewhere with crocmedia just teeing off at them.
