Refer to the last page mate. Osborne and Odegaard are WWT and CD players, respectively.

And yet he was training at Woodville Oval on Tuesday night? Must've been running around by himself. And Odegaard is 16 for those playing at home.

Not even JK's problem is it?

If the SANFL ( in theory, a higher comp) says that their player is to find another feeder club, then I wouldn't think there'd be much room for argument.

I guess they could declare that the player is not wanted in the competition. What if that player had received 13 games of suspensions over their career, the SANFL still considers them eligible to play football, but the AdFL have their own by-laws that ban a player after 12. Not sure the SANFL would overrule the AdFL just because the player was listed at a SANFL club.

I suspect common sense has been used and they are trying to not stop a promising kid from having a game.

You’re right Pengy. As a board member, I’d be really annoyed if the CEO was wasting his time on Blessed’s self-serving interest.

Under rules introduced this season, any SANFL club senior or under 18 squad member was fully transferred to the SANFL club from his local club and is then registered with his local club on a permit. Some of these lads may not have played for their SANFL club this season but if they were still active and playing trials right until the eve of the season then the transfer process would have still occurred. This is the opposite to what previously applied. The publicly viewable clearance page doesn't distinguish between a transfer or a permit so it's not always clear. If a CDFC player was also registered with SN then any move to another AdFL club brought about by the SN disaffiliation is not actually a transfer but just the re-issuing of a permit to another club. In practice it may appear the same as a transfer but technically it isn't. The SN ban would have probably meant that the SACFL and SANFL lifted any permit to SN which means another AdFL club would have only had to apply to the SANFL club for a permit for player X which means no transfer from SN to club A has occurred. This is probably the legitimate loophole why some players that have played for SN this year could now be at another AdFL club.
