I've heard Dublin's ground last season was as good as you could possibly get for community cricket.

I always loved the trip up to OTH although their grass went crap the last couple of years I played, loved batting at Two Wells and the short straight boundary at Mofflin hitting towards the athletic track.

Eastern Park- For batting on, short boundaries, quick one side etc
Atco- Had a lot of success at the ground even as an opposition player and won a couple of junior GF's there
OTH- probably the 'nicest' ground in the competition
Riverside- nice enough ground always a good bunch of lads to hang around after wards

Hate-
Uley Rd, dislocated my shoulder twice there, never batted well there and cant remember a whole lot of wins there.
Salisbury West- shit of a ground, always lose there and a bunch of twats on field to play against

I could never feel the atmosphere on Dauntsey for some reason, I don't know what it was.

Riverside used to be an absolute picture when I was playing juniors, their grass was as good as any I've ever played on, it changed over the years though.

Watching cricket from the pepper tree is one of the nicest spots to watch cricket from in the PDCA, a pity about the locals. ;)

It was a good spot because generally you would get offered a few beers throughout the day. Made a long day in the field pass a lot quicker.

Salisbury West #2. Can push singles that run for 4s. And the beer tent rocked.

Best ground - Salisbury North, Sandy Creek, Riverside, Two Wells
Worst grounds - Anywhere he had a bad day

Peninsula Pirates & Para Vista Lutheran.

Clubs will vote on their applications at the AGM.

Both club accepted last night, welcome to the PDCA.

Will be interesting to see what grades they fall in to.

No EP, Smithfield or Adelaide Warriors present last night, hope thats not a sign for the future.

Fair fine for not turning up at the AGM.

Eastern Park and Smithfield will definitely be nominating, I'm sure there was some mis-communication somewhere along the line.

Where ever they’re put based on their list and what they nominate.

Peninsula Pirates sounded more assuring than Para Vista last night - knew they wanted 2x sides (one in 2 day comp, one in 1 day comp), had sponsors lined up, ground secured, spoke well.. Para Vista didn’t know what format or divisions they wanted to compete, and weren’t even too confident over number of teams but indicated 2 sides. They have a meeting Monday night to determine their nominations.

Footy Clubs that have cricket can usually be a factor.

Alex has recently become a dad and he'd be the one behind the cricket @ EP, I know they are keen to build their club up again.

I've messaged someone from Smithfield this morning who had no idea that the AGM was on, the person who would generally have told him has been interstate, I do think they may go to one side though unfortunately.

Stop making excuses for them pal :P

I have heard they're keen for cricket though, caught up with Ray-Ray during the footy season - reckons they're trying to recruit heavily as well to impact D1.
