Fair enough, not sure i see the need for it though.

TF11 - and what happens to those players when their club team is not playing against them. If playing for the ER's against another club then you don't have them therefore potentially not having your best 20/20 side. i.e Valente, Pengelly, Cormack playing for ACC against ER's but then playing for ER's when they are playing against another side.

So a club which develops their players and has high representation in the HP teams are disadvantaged if all games played on same day.

Have heard that he’s already been to Woodville trainings this current pre-season. No Turley and potentiallg no Tietjens, can’t see him going anywhere. Especially Kensington who are bowler strong.

Adelaide Uni strike again! - poaching another young under 21 cricketer from TTG - Seems they have changed from recruiting poms & NT cricketers to recruiting young lads within the state junior high performance areas!! but don't worry they will say that no money/scholarships are changing hands.

Is this really the best thing for cricket in South Australia?
Young blokes who are developed and encouraged by there clubs only to be poached with financial incentives at a young age!

Can't wait to hear the we don't spend money on player statements again!

There's a shock! Adelaide University at it again........ Disgrace.

Offering up easy spots to young kids from other clubs, flicking cash around, offering scholarships. Not what premier Cricket is all about.

I'm sure that isn't what the SACA would be encouraging anyway?

No they haven't which brings a smile to most clubs faces I'm sure.... but i think the point that's being made is that it do you think its fine that a club offers cash, scholarships etc to young players to recruit them!

There was a post in here a little while ago that a number of Uni old boys were unhappy that they had so many overseas players and interstate blow ins.

If they don't go down the interstate/overseas path there aren't many other options.
