I'm just stoked I now get a pay rise every 6 months after going without one for 6 years when I was a full time worker.

Kids football side.. they are allocated one night a week to train (Friday), haven't trained in over a month due to coach being sick, stuck at work, weather etc. etc... they don't learn anything, pre-game "warm up" consists of the kids just kicking one oversized ball a kid brings from home for goal.. but they have some talented kids and bigger kids so all is ok because the big kids dominate

I'm fed up with it, why invest time and money for kids to play sport and they're hardly getting anything out of it!?**

*Note* - I'm glad mid-year when I got sick of the lack of training I got the kids training with one of the other jnr sides during the week as well. but still i'm cranky

Studies showing some anti coaugulants are better than Warfarin when it comes to bleeding issues.

Our junior teams are each allocated 4 x senior players to help out with training during the year.
While I was taking the 15xU6s through drills on Thursday night one of the A graders had pulled a kid aside to fix his kicking action.
That sort of help is invaluable at this age group and ties the Seniors and Juniors together.
4 of our junior sides are coached by current senior players which is great

My lads team is coached by the B Grade Captain, great bloke and coach. Members of the team want to go out there Saturday to watch him. It’s a win win situation

Our juniors last season were coached my myself and our senior QB.

We also brought other senior players in during the year to help with specific positions. So an O-line player came in to help those kids. Obviously a Strong Safety and QB have never played O-line, so it's a whole different skill set that's hard to teach if you've never had to do it yourself.

Also, we had the current Australian Outback coach come and take the kids for a session while he was in Adelaide to take our senior State training.

The only problem is, it's always the same couple of people who put their hands up. Myself and the QB haven't had a break from gridiron since June 2017.

My non stop gridiron span looks like this. (June 2017 - April 2019) Spartans, Juniors (coach), Flag (coach), Bendigo, Spartans, Juniors (coach), Junior State (coach).

We're also looking at getting some flag football coaching clinics into some schools in Term 4.
