One thing that doesnt get mentioned about Richmond if their fitness, they constantly out number opponents at the contest and even more evident in last quarters, also their ability to stand and shrug tackles. Add to that playing in a GF gives you a shorter prep for the season but they have not shown any point of weakness at all this year.

Tex could watch a few videos of Jack Riewoldt to learn how to take an overhead mark, I reckon I could even teach him a few things.

That and he doesn't time when he needs to jump, a player knows their own abilities he should be hitting the ball with his hands at the highest point he is capable of

This.

They are +91 for scores post the 20 minute mark of the final quarter. Their ability to run out games at such a high level of intensity is unbelievable.

Time to give some games to the kids and get everyone cherry ripe for next year, as our best team who are all in form is still good enough for a crack

Yep, realistically their not going to win the next 7 to make the finals, can only benefit from dropping on the ladder if the draft is as good as some experts have suggested. Good luck running that one by KG though

The kids have been playing, you know you've had loads of injuries, yeah?

Doedee is a gem, Ellis Yoleman isn't, Galluci doesn't seem likely, Poholke might be one day, Fogarty can't play in a side with Jenkins Walker and Lynch, it's too tall and no ground level pressure that sides crave.

You say your best side contends, unless it hits the grpund in the forward half.

Time to ask Sloane and McGovern for answers.

they supposedly have 100k members and not even 50k rock up (assuming some crows fans) to a huge Friday night game when their team is 2 games clear on top

the crows would get absolutely pilloried if they didn't get 45k + to a similar fixture, so 54 being the highest crowd ever is pretty ridiculous

Crowds are down across the board it seems.

We all know for a walk up family it's a costly day, for a membership family it's a costly year. It's showing.

With up to 17 or 18 games a year in Melbourne the supporters are spoilt for choice and tend to pick and choose what games they go to

yeah this is what It is I reckon. In a way the MCG is almost too big, because people can just rock up when the want - at AO, you basically have to get a season ticket or you will struggle to get to games (for the crows at least but even the power too)

and its once a fortnight too
