She reminds me of that star teenage sportsperson that is that far in front of her own age group but she does it against the best in the world

Essendon should have sourced their drugs from her instead of getting the dodgey stuff from Dank

Any one had any experience their kids meeting someone new? Won't be happening right now, but it will down the track.

i am scared to crush them when they realise mum and dad won't be getting back together...

Sidenote, my kids won't be meeting anyone unless i think their is a future with... None of this new person every week crap like some people do...

Just tell them, "This is your mum now!" ;)

No, seriously, I have had a lot of experience with this. My family didn't meet my son until he was 4 or 5. My dad didn't get to meet him at all before he passed away.

It's different for different people. My brothers just mucked around with him the first few times. Now he loves spending time with them.

Mrs HH3 was a bit different. We approached it differently. Started by sending pics of us making faces to his mums phone. And he'd send one back making faces. That was just to show him what she looked like. And kinda showed that our place was a fun environment.

I'd talk to him about her before they met. And he'd ask questions. So once they finally did meet, he kind of knew her a bit, and had stuff to talk about straight away.

Now first thing he askes is "Is Mrs HH3 home? Is she coming to (insert whatever we've got planned)", etc.

You don't need to make any bold statements mate when it all unfolds.

I had many female friends when I was single, more women would visit than men so my kids got used of me having female friends around, they were just as encouraging as I was keen when it seemed as though I had met the right one to take the next step.

Not that I have experience but surely if you just introduce her as a friend that would be OK for all parties and later on down the track if it gets to the "future" stage you have the convo then which should be much easier if they have gotten to know her well.

Speaking to the ex wife a week or so later, she lets me know that as soon as the kids got in the car after being with me for the weekend they start singing daddys got a girlfriend.....

They are smarter than what we give them credit for
