THats the exact reason why in my opinion why red cards (or at least yellow) do have a place in the game. For blatant acts such as that.

We have all played the game, there is only 1 intention when you do that.

Ryder gone for a few, Gray for at least one, Port gone?
Nic Nat, a right knee ACL, West Coast gone?
Collingwood no good, Sydney no good.
Things looking even better for Richmond.

They're both not even mentioning, Richmond in such a better position than last year IMHO.

Oh pleease you all complain the games too soft. The over reaction to incidents in the media and on social media is a disgrace. They are all football acts these days that get suspended, there is no dirty hits, the hysterics is beyond belief. That tackle if Gray doesnt get hurt doesnt get a mention. The Walker incident shouldve been a fine max even by todays standards seen as though we have gone down the path of the outcome rather than the action itself.
I still maintain suspensions should be reserved for non football acts like Lamb and Sicily this year. Fines for others, percentage of salary. We dont want players sitting out because somebody accidentally gets injured whilst someone is acting within the rules of the game, You are allowed to bump, you are allowed to tackle.

Youre no good, your midfield is too old and banged up, if Franklin doesnt score nobody else does, they all feed off him, some of your young ones are ok (Ronke, Papley etc) but they are not going to offer the consistency required to be a contender, your bottom 6 is rubbish. It was only North you beat today, i wouldnt get too carried away yet they are certainties to make the 8.

Unless Richmond somehow drop to 3rd and two interstate teams finish top 2 they are not losing it. Giants i think are the ones to chellenge but they may burn all their petrol tickets just to get in the 8 much like the Swans last year.

You’re being very general with your statements regarding “you all think the games gone too soft”.

Dumping someone in to the ground like that is not good mate. I’ve been guilty of it 15 years ago and everyone that’s played in those days done the same thing. A lot these heroes you want to hold on to are suffering pretty badly and because we want to hold on to what we thought was tough. There’s nothing tough about slinging a blokes head in to the ground.

The game hasn’t gone soft. Many of your childhood heroes would last 5 minutes when a 6’4 on baller who runs like the wind and weighs 100kgs hits them at full tilt at a 50/50 contest. Imagine if some of the shit that happened years ago was allowed to happen today. You would be waiting for someone to be killed on the field.
