Good luck wubbsy mine has done both and it has taken 3 year off his life even having spent $6k fixing the first.
I cried myself to sleep Sunday night as I think we have gone for out last walk together. From now on for not sure how long, it will just be around the paddock.

The very poor beer selections in the Qantas Club - Wellington.

Steinlager Pure, Pure Blonde & Crown Lager.

Fortunately this is balanced out by the very good wine selection - white in particular. Just need some "inspiration" to write my reports of the weeks activities. Alcohol embellishments required me thinks. :drinkers:

Took me nearly 20 years before I had the courage to get another dog. Sad but true... Now I wish I didn't wait so long.

My son had been getting bullied at & after school for some time last term, he told the ex who spoke to the year level co-ordinator, they spoke to the kid but it got worse because of it, the kid is known for it and has been suspended previously for it along with for fighting.

My lad is a very quiet, easy going lad who cops hard tags on the footy field but just plods along, on the Thursday before the holidays the kid started on him as he got off the bus in the morning (it was the kid's first day back after a suspension), my son had enough of this kid in his face so he cracked him and dropped him on his arse, end result, my son got suspended for the last day of term and had to have a meeting with the principal this morning before resuming, the other kid got internally suspended for provoking it after a few witnesses were questioned.

My ex and son kept it from me as they thought I might ban him from boxing, I'm pretty pissed as she has gone there this morning to deal with it and I think she'll stuff it up, I should've been told immediately as I would've gone to the school last term.

Good on your son, took it for long enough and cracked. I don’t blame him. Hopefully that is the end of it

I think you should have been told straight away, she would expect to be informed

Yeah, I haven't had a chance to talk to him about it yet, my daughter filled me in last night and I'm not one to discuss things via text, phone etc in any sort of capacity, I prefer to deal "in person".

Exactly, considering he's at my house 5 nights a week.

Yeah mate, poor lad has been shitting himself all holidays waiting for me to find out.

He still doesn't know that I know, I'm picking up from volleyball practice this arvo to take him straight to footy training, I think we'll have "that talk" then.

As a parent, I actually find that I have the best convo's with my kids are in the car, we are both trapped, we know how long we have to say what we have to get out which means we have to factor in a resolution time too, nothing beats "quality time" when it comes to teenage kids.

I am the same, I pick my son up at 9pm after work and he has now worked out if I go the long way home that a decent discussion is about to occur

Your lad seems like a top kid so I am sure you will work it out sensibly between you.

For me I would be annoyed at him for not telling me as you both seem to have a good bond together

Now my daughter is working and it's not far from home I prefer to walk to pick her up so we can talk on the way back.

Yes, he will know this afternoon that he'll have my support if he's upfront about things like he usually is, he will also cop it for me finding out secondhand, we'll finish the convo on a positive note though, it's all about the method.

I missed a few of important years with my 23 year old daughter, we made up for it when I broke up with her step-mum, I'll never make the same mistake again, we all went to her house last night for a roast, it was very pleasing.

Yes, I agree the best two way conversations with the boys are in the car, especially when they know the timeframe. My younger boy will even hop in the car for a short trip when he knows where I am going, after he has helped me out and I have said he does not have to. He is 27.

We've been through our share of courier companies. Kings were probably the worst. Lost a ute tray full of stuff and claimed to never of collected it from us.

We've been using Capital for a while now. No major problems in two years.

We've had issues with suppliers where we would never get what we ordered....
I dont know how some companies think they can survive long term by doing this.
More recently a Delivery company tried telling me they weren't a courier service....not sure what difference is. Then tried to say that there are added costs if our driver does this etc...
Our new supplier was all over it. Went above this guy and BINGO.....order delivered.

I drove for yellows for a while "Be your own boss" "But do what we tell you to do".

All in all though, I'll probably do it again when I'm old.
