Marion V StPauls is MASSIVE. I am sure both teams don't fancy travelling across the other side of town for 1st week of finals. M Lakes need a win to stay in contention, Houghton still an outside chance of pinching a finals spot if results went their way (unlikely).

Can SPOS host a final?

2 years ago Flinders played them at Greenacres, think that was more the state of the oval than anything.

Jesse Whinnen I assume... Yeah he kicked 11 so would be on 105 now I think. Should be playing above C level but I think he plays lacrosse in the arvo. Very nice for the Pulteney lads

06 - Golden Grove
02 - Mitchell Park
00 - Flinders Uni

Rd 16
Flinders Uni vs Mitchell Park - good opportunity for both these battling clubs to pick up a rare win as they close out the season. Mitchell Pk surely get over the line in this one after some close results in recent weeks.

Mawson Lakes vs Houghton - interesting match, the Mozzies can effectively end the Raiders finals chances with a win here. A Raiders win however keeps the door slightly ajar but will help the Units create some breathing space.

Central United vs Golden Grove - Units should collect the points here and move into 4th position, and a step closer to a finals berth.

Tea Tree Gully vs OSBL - Hard to see the Lions dropping one as they wind up towards finals and much needed club success.

Marion vs St Pauls - could be the match of the round. Marion with a draw last week shows they're vulnerable, and St Pauls just continue to do enough to keep winning. 2nd place and home final on the line here. Marion for me in a close one.

Marion V StPauls is MASSIVE. I am sure both teams don't fancy travelling across the other side of town for 1st week of finals. M Lakes need a win to stay in contention, Houghton still an outside chance of pinching a finals spot if results went their way (unlikely).
Marion's B grade will hoping for their A grade to get the home final too (obviously), as it means if they finish 2nd or 3rd they will get to play a home too. Meaning if the b grade ladder stayed the same. Tea tree gully would play marion @ marion first week.

Must have had army tanks doing donuts on it if Greenacres was a better option.

Might have been the bar, can't remember. The couple of times I've played at St Pauls it was a mud bath.

I've had a boot sucked straight off my foot running through the Greenacres sludge.

Please forgive us for wanting our Full Forward to kick goals. How silly of us.
Who was pleading? Just saying bringing up a ton next week wearing his old Sullies Guernsey in front of a Past Players day crowd would be a good way to kick his 100th goal.

@q

So youre at houghton and you gotta say get to marion oval but you cant be bothered driving though north east rd and city traffic etc etc is there a way instead from houghton to cut across to the freeway and then come down out onto cross roads?.
