Located on the first level, we sat on the veranda overlooking Southbank with the lit up buildings over the water creating a great atmosphere. Cafe blinds & heaters kept us comfortable.
All of us opted for “The Greek Feast” @ $59 p/person
Homemade dips & dolmades came out first, followed by the pan fried saganaki (divine) & crispy calamari.
A few more Mythos, not a bad beer and the chargrilled meat platters came out.
MY-F#CKING-GOD!
Chicken, pork & lamb gyros, loukanika, lamb koftas & bifteki served with sides of Greek style chips, salad & dessert.
The meat was nothing short of spectacular. Cooked perfectly & plenty of it. Washed down with more Mythos & a few bottles of red and it was a fantastic night. The service was friendly & efficient.
Highly recommend if you’re heading over the border.

Service 9/10
Food 9.5/10
Value 9.5/10

Might give this joint a go when I'm in Melbourne for the Cats v Hawks game in a couple of weeks.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

Haven’t tried Elenika yet.
Zucca’s is nice.
Zak’s at West Lakes has gone to the dogs.
Never had a bad feed at Kefi, no octopus on the menu anymore is their only blight.
There used to be a place a few years ago on Jetty Rd Brighton called Medusa’s which was awesome.

Purchased a Scoopon online for 4 people, choice of schnitzel with sauce or any burger off the menu plus 4 pints of tap beer/cider or glass of house wine all for $35. I must admit I was sceptical when I bought it - quality, how small would the meals be etc.
Table booked for 6pm, seated & drinks ordered straight away. Fast table service for drinks - tick. (shits me no end when you have to wait & wait for a drink). Second beer arrives & we order.
The bistro is well set out & tables are not crammed together like many places these days. The manager Alex, runs a well organised bistro with plenty of friendly, attentive staff.
Beer number 3 and the meals arrive, the missus & kids all order beef burgers - pattie, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, relish & smokey mustard on a good sized brioche bun with a mountain of chips on the side. I had the chicken parmigiana & chips. Mine was stock standard, nothing flash but by no means bad. The three burgers were spot on. The kids could’ve shared one they were such a good size, so I got to help clean theirs up too. Wifey smashed hers and washed it down with a cider. A couple of soft drink pints for the kids were $10.
In and out within an hour, fed, watered & content.
4 meals, 3 pints of Carlton Draught, 1 pint cider all for $35 - outrageous value, kicking myself I didn’t purchase more.

Service 9/10
Food 8/10
Value 10/10

Unreal value! Is the deal still available or gone?

Its on scoopon again today @Dutchy

I live nowhere near it so wasn't interested but when I saw it I remembered Dutchy was keen on it.
Would be a handy deal for Bays supporters.

Yep, must email your booking & wait for confirmation.
They won’t honour the Scoopon if you simply walk in.

Grabbed the deal for the Holdy and sent Spargo's Greek street food review to the missus who's staying at a Southbank presently.

Do they have a good alfresco dining area with heating? I'm an outdoors man when it comes to eating out. I'm about to book a table for a couple of weeks. I've been on their website and the food looks good. Can't find a bloody wine list though
So you've seen everything have you?

Yep, make sure you book a table on the balcony overlooking the water, they’ve got heaters out there.
They’ve just updated their website & they haven’t put their wine list up for some reason.
