Norwood could get a boost for its forward structure with the return of a strong-marking target against the Eagles on Friday night.

Former Hawthorn utility Luke Surman could play his first Macca’s League game since dislocating his elbow last time the Redlegs played the Eagles in Round 7.

Surman has been named on a five-man extended interchange bench while former Central player Josh Glenn, recovered from a calf strain, is listed in the forward pocket.

Magarey Medallist Mitch Grigg will play his 100th Macca’s League match after making his debut as a 16-year-old in 2009.

Time for the Eags to stand up. Petrenko and Borholm if they play are a plus. My heart say Eags by 15pts.

Would like to see a reaction from last weeks insipid display. Eagles in a close one.
Very surprised if they play Petrenko in the league!

Just checked the reserves and Firns dropped and Petrenko not named so assumed he is in league as would be Poole and Borholm

The Eagles' turn to stand in front of the Red and Blue cannon.
The Eagles to hold them for 2 and a half quarters, the Legs will outscore them by between 5 to 9 goals in the other 1 and a bit Q's.
Having said that, this should be a fascinating contest. The Eagles have put in some monster displays apart from catching Sturt on the rebound last week. While Norwood are just steamrolling all before them. I am interested in seeing if there is at least one side left in the competition capable of, at the very least, slowing Norwood down when they begin drilling goals.

I think I would prefer the Eagles to win this, on account of Norwood are scaring the sh1t out of me ATM.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail
