We made it there about noon, thought it wouldn't be that busy...wrong. Plenty of North fans also. Looked at Sky Channel and in the next race there was a horse called "Archers Treasure"...won at 7's :D

in the end actually, no. we managed to reorganise finances and are now keeping the old joint as an investment property.

thankfully the fruitloop hasnt been sighted since that weekend, hopefully any prospective tenants dont read this forum

I'm moving house in mid- August, after I get home in the next few days.
I bought a new place, in mid-June intending to move straight away, but then got offered a 5 week job in the WA health service at very generous pay.
So now I own two residences and owe the bank a lot, but the pay rate more than offsets the interest cost...

I'll be glad to get it over with though.

How did you eat them? Any special methods?

The missus loves them, I'm a bit hit and miss, depending on how they are cooked/served.

Boiled in rain water. Bring water to boil and chuck em in and wait for water to re-boil and cook for 3 minutes. As soon as you take em out u put em in a salt water ice slurry.

We tried them these ways on my last yabbie trip.
Cooked them in salted water for 7 mins. Taken out and cooled
Cooked them in Salted water, ice slurry. 7 Mins
Boil Fresh water, salted ice slurry. 7 Mins

The last way I thought was he best. THe ice slurry makes the peeling much easier.
