exactly. imagine what some fans AND media would say if the captain of their football club declared they can't make finals when mathematically they can

I seriously don’t get this mentality “if you’re not first your last”.
Give me a team that is competitive each week and a genuine chance of winning a game let alone a flag, than a gutless side with this gutless mentality.

It’s a losers attitude because it gives fans of shit sides a way to think they are equal with decent but not the best sides
