Any publican worth their salt would still pay penalty rates if you worked into Monday morning.
BWS or ALH pubs on the other hand...

I get much more working for an ALH/BWS pub than I did a privately owned pub.

Not a little bit, I'm talking about shitloads. Up to double the pay rate.
It's because the union has a great agreement and 99% of Woollies staff work during the day and there so many bonuses for working on the weekends and nights.
Thinking about giving up Ent centre work as its so much less than my pub pay and the AEC pays $31ph. Still there as I love the work so much though
Doubt I'll go back to Adelaide Oval though as their pay was less than the AEC but have just suspended work there in the hope I might get more work at the Basketball which was great fun.

I wonder if Norwood have some concerns after Josh Glenn spilt the beans in extra payments in the Barossa League ? ;)

LAWNMOWER
Opinions on
Blaxland 189cc OHV Rover engine[159cc]
Retails between $400- $500 depending on the retailer or online

Has an easy one pull starter
Will this one be adequate for average sized front/back lawns ?

Does it compare with other similar brands ?

I bought one of these a few months ago at Bunnings and it's a ball tearer. Starts first time every time and rips through it. $500.00

How rigorous is a medical/physical that includes planking and crunches?
I did one last year but it didn't involve any physical component like this one does.

It should take into account your age and gender, that is, the older you get the less crunches and a lower plank time. Normally a step test (queens college info on internet) is included if they wish to check your heart and recovery rate.

They should tell you what the requirements are. Is this for pub work?

Cheers for the info and no, not for a pub job. I've been offered a job elsewhere which I'm mulling over.

In the wine industry you get paid the rate for the day in which your shift starts, ie Friday night is normal time even if it goes into Saturday. Sunday remains at Sunday rates if it goes into Monday. The hotels must be a different award, kind of sucks.

Hotels would be Miscellaneous Award.
So as pointed out by Brodlach thats how the shift would be paid.
