I'd chuck in the loss of 4 home games for 2019, the days they were meant to host the bottom 4 sides they play them away.

$7000. fine, the donnybrooks have a couple of shows coming up so the fine is covered.
Lost of six points this year and if things go there way they will still play finals.
Lost of Apps points next 2 years, so when you take the six points off this year and the way the BLGFA points are worked out they will probably end up with more points next year than they had this year.
The coach gets 12 months suspension and from what I've heard he wasn't coaching next year anyway.
The other official gets 24 months and he isn't involved anymore and I've been told he is not to fussed about the suspension as he is up on the sunshine coast working on his tan, drinking corona's all day.

Whos coaching for the remainder of the season?

Id make the player who accepted the sign on pay the same amount plus 50% in fines to the CFB. Not all the responsibilty should rest with the clubs, some has to fall on the players accepting it.

On another id love to be there next time Greenwood and Glenn run into each other, i wouldnt want to be Glenn :D

Was there actually any prescribed penalties drawn up when they introduced the new rules?

Absolutely, Josh is a pretty solid young lad but Mal is a ball of muscle with no fear or concern for his own safety.

Think Mal is also a black belt, There is a story about Mal being set upon by a group of blokes in a Tanunda street in the early hours of the morning years ago. Didnt end well for them

So the penalty for breaching the salary cap is to be slapped with a wet lettuce leaf.

I can't think of any rational reason to spread a loss of premiership points over a number of seasons. Toothless tiger indeed.

My mate at the SANFL said it has been very quiet at the offices today about last nights hearing. He did say it went well past midnight before a decision was made, but he also said Josh Glenn's week from hell just got a lot more interesting apparently the boy has failed a SANFL drug test. So no free ride with this one.

Haha this is hilarious, glad sanity prevailed. They should spend more time worrying about the weekly circus of the SAAFL and leave the country leagues to handle their own affairs
