Dude at work has always said if the ball hits the post and goes in the goal area it should be a goal, we are the only sport that doesn't play like that.
Rebounds back into play or goes through the point area, then it's a behind.

Actually quite ironic, was talking about this at local footy Sat morning and that it should be like that as well!

Tom Hawkins hit the post against the Saints in 2009 and was credited a goal. The vision was clear and would have been awarded a point under the current review system.
