Would be a good fit at Sydney then ;)

Could watch a game of soccer using an oval shaped ball then have Kenny give us a rundown on it.

How dare Ross Lyon be a bit emotional and exaggerate where it occurred after seeing an 18yo get his jaw smashed and 4 teeth removed and witnessing the kids mum crying over it. I think the point was it might as well have been 1000 metres behind play as it had nothing to do with the play.

Like most I'm happy to be critical of Lyon for many things but his presser was not one of them.

I'm not condoning what happened but I don't think exaggerating incidents is the way to go either.

Gerard arguing for 12 weeks for gaff.

his argument was Barry hall got 10 weeks in 2008 (which was reduced to 7 because of an early guilty plea), and in the last 10 years community attitudes have moved significantly with regards to 1 punch attacks in clubs, so it should do the same here.

makes a fair point.

My initial thoughts were 6 weeks, but I can see them going higher

Bugg got 6 recently but that was rated as high impact, this is rated as severe, so yeah I think 8 is likely

Think Gaff has just ruined his chances of going to the Demons next year. Big bro wouldn’t be too happy, but neither would be his brother that plays for West Coast.

Maybe all the pressure of contract time has got to him and he just had a massive brain fart.
Certainly out of character. Like many I went in at 6 weeks but is that enough?

If Barry Hall got 7 how many ever years ago i think Gaff has to get more now.

I'm thinking he will get 8 if they take his good record seriously into account. 10 if they want to make a stand and send a message out.

If i'm West Coast management we accept any suspension he gets. Concede it was out of character but cant be tolerated in the game and that we respect the AFL's decision. We will provide him with all the support during the suspension and he is still a required player once the suspension is up.

I think he'll still get 6 based on the evidence they will present of his intentions for a hit in the chest area not the head
