Good win by the Lions magoos putting us in 3rd. If it stays that way where will the 2v3 final be played?
Would really depend if TTG C grade earn a 'home' final. Their Div 1 side is playing home that week so not sure where the D7 final would be.

Bottom oval? ALthough, I'm not sure if they can have home finals (west end)
Don't play games with a girl who can play 'em better...

They've been hosting finals for at least a couple of years now - have watched a couple of beauties vs PNU out there in recent seasons

Seems like the As and Bs have been wrapped up after the top teams comprehensively beat their closest threats on the weekend.

I wouldn't say that TTG are our closest threats. Lonsdale are really peaking at the right time and the last time we met was a very good hit out. They have some really good runners and good in and under blokes too. I reckon they're are closest threat.

Disappointing performances from both marion sides on saturday. But i wouldnt be ruling them out just yet. Probably 10 or more blokes to come back straight in to the A grade this week. Will strengthen both sides.
But yes, agree that lonsdales B grade are looking good at this stage of the season.

Looking forward to the hit out then this Saturday. You guys are doing very well in both grades. And we all know that finals footy is a lot different than home and away games.

Yeah. That what i was saying.
Due to injury/pulling up sore, our captain and vice captain (midfielders) didnt play on the weekend. Either did our ruckman, full back, centre half forward, forward pocket and back pocket. Plus another few that have played the majority of the year in A grade. All hopefully pushing for selection this week.

Not an excuse, we were beating by a far better side on the weekend.

I would give them all another rest this week. We have nothing to lose and will be looking forward to a particularly bruising encounter to jag a win to finish the season.

Played in a magoos team one day in my late teens where for the first 7 rounds we were stone cold last 1-6. We beat the third team Rd 1 and then had a disgusting run of injuries in A’s and B’s. There was literally 1 week we got beaten by almost 30 goals and played with 16. The following week we had 14 inclusions in the 2’s and played Brahma Lodge out there. We knew our team was pretty good on paper and they wouldn’t see it coming. In the the warm up all we heard was Brahma Lodge talking about not getting ahead of them selves and to focus on doing the team things and get percentage. We were up by 9 goals at quarter time and won by 26 goals. From there we lost in the Prelim but that 1 day always sticks in my mind.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

U rested your major integral engine room players against the top side lol thats the weirdest thing ive ever heard most the time you do that agsinst the bottom sides

That would be like geelong resting selwood ablett hawkins etc etc etc against richmond last week

Definitely playing sketchy buggers against the flag favourite id reckon, mind games and all that with finals only 2 weeks away knowing youll meet em again

Probably quite clever really

Coach will be pissed at u now..... "whyd you reveal our sketchy scheme" haha
