They definitely need it, with Coles back strengthening their batting they could make 400 every game, but can they take 10 wickets?

Turley was their only wicket taker and gone to Prospect, Tietjens body gone and nearly done, Francesca breaks down a bit and not a strike bowler, guys in 2nd Grade like Thoman not up to 1st Grade.

This guy be handy if he can stay on the park, another bit injury prone though!

Can understand where your coming from Eagles.

With the one dayers up front, if they make all those runs it doesn’t matter how many wickets you take as long as you defend them. Do that 3/4 times out of the first half a dozen games and then all of a sudden confidence and winning culture may take over. (You should know that better than anyone after 2 seasons ago)

Losing Turley statwise is huge however it may help the Peckers have a more balanced and steadied attack which could be dangerous.

I’m not sure how good they will be this year, think that depending on how state selections go for them, there big 3 are really important and if they play majority of games at Pecker Park then I’m thinking they could go ok this year.

Other than that Kensington sound like they have recruited and will be better than last season and it’s always tough to look past TTG with the brigade they’ve got.

Agree with all that PPP, with all the one day games at start of year makes it very interesting, and Woodville will make plenty of runs which will be enough to win most matches.

Also helps teams like TTG and Glenelg who are such good one day teams especially. Will be hard for teams to play "catch up" all season if you don't get off to a flyer!

Personally think WT are a better one day and 20/20 team than 2 day team, so hopefully we get that good start also. The draw will be pretty important who you get to play also.

Greg Quinn back coaching one of the junior teams at East Torrens I believe. Good to hear. He had a heart attack not so long ago so must have bounced back alright

The 20/20 draw is interesting for one club.
4 out of 6 homes games, and away games at neighboring clubs :-?
Like the idea of Friday night games, should pull reasonable crowds and gives clubs the opportunity to make some extra revenue.

Agreed, a past players 'night' could be a $$$ spinner and the source of some sore heads at junior cricket the next day

Which club?

Is there a full draw out yet or still just a draft?

Thought the head of Programming Committee would have given Prospect the cushy draw this year!!

It's genuinely disgusting that said individual continually sways a full premier competition's fixture to benefit his own club, happened a couple of years ago with the bye and still going on now.

I don't believe so.

Woodville on the look out for another bowler as potential recruit (mentioned earlier in the thread) not going there now, apparently.

Any hints?

Protest at Nobesy captain haha

Wheels have fallen off at Adelaide apparently, will be interesting AGM as lots of unhappy Members with all the off field stuff.

Shame really, as thought last year they may pinch the flag with their great young list with all local talent.

Nobes been replaced as captain before the season even starts! Had get together with 1st Grade group and he got a bit intoxicated and said lots of inappropriate stuff. Gone from captain to not playing this year, having a "year off".

Valente going to Port, good mates with Benton, plus good coin, was not enjoying himself at Adelaide last couple of years. Massive loss.

Reardon given up too, means Raph has to keep, plus he has taken back the captaincy which he wanted to give up as has young family now.

Payne gone to Adelaide Turf.

Rumour Glenelg confident of getting Cormack, this may now change with Nobes gone.

Pengelly's also not happy, but probably stay now also.

Going to very interesting AGM!!

which turf club is Payney going to?
