Personally never thought SPP was good as everyone said. He is a good footballer but lacks the polish to be anything more IMO.

I was just looking at disposal efficiency and saw wingard is going at 62%, why is that for someone so incredibly skilled? I know he gets close in tight touches but id expect better. Stevie motlop is going at 75% which is quality.

SPP's role in the Port Midfield isn't to be the 'Finisher' so to speak, SPP strength is contested footy, Contested possies are never going to have a high % efficiency for the simply fact you may be kicking with a bloke hanging off you.

He may not be the player people suggest but facts are IMO in Ports best dozen players that just needs a spell.

Motlop will always be high disposal efficiency as his contested ball numbers would be nearly the lowest in the side. (at a guess) hence no contact, clean skills.

Looking at the ladder and coming fixtures if Sydney and North win today then Port are in big strife if they only win 1 of the last 2. Should still make it if Sydney lose. Can’t see Port winning next week but fairly good chance to knock off Essendon.

Simply don’t deserve to play finals, should we manage to scrap in it’d be simply making up the numbers anyway.

Some quality reading on the various Port facebook pages, do yourselves a favour and treat yourselves. Spelling is one of the many highlights.

How are the big 3 tracking over the last month. Its unfair to single out just one game like last night, how has their body of work been over the last 4 or 5 games when top 4 and finals have been up for grabs?
Are they still talking about that premiership they won in the trade period down at Alberton?
